  "I believe that children learn best through play, such as physical play, play with objects, loose parts, symbolic play, or socio-dramatic play. Play is an instrument for the development of senses, the exercise of judgement through sensory experiences and contact with things. When children are playing, they learn about their intellectual level, physical abilities, their behaviors, and their socio-emotional interactions. While playing, they show what they know, understand, and what they can realize. Play is a connector between social development and development of a whole child. It improves communication, social problem solving, turn taking, and negotiation skills. Play makes learning something that happens naturally and joyfully, and when children laugh and wonder, explore and imagine, they learn to process and to construct meaning about the world around them, creating their knowledge and learning."
