I started taking music lessons at 5 years of age and continued until I was 18. At the age of 14, I started to teach music and I continue to teach all who want to learn to this day. (44+ years) In school I was introduced to most of the instruments that I now play, and I was involved with the choirs, jazz, junior and senior bands.
I find teaching students of all ages very rewarding and I strive to make lessons fun as well as rewarding for each one. I believe anyone who desires to learn an instrument can do so with practice and a positive attitude towards learning. I am an advocate for Year Round Lessons.

His first trip overseas to Guyana South America had him lead music times in an orphanage; it was then that he knew he was created to share his music and heart with children. He is a former kids pastor from a vineyard church plant and has a real passion to do more than just share songs with kids, He believes the next generation can be profoundly influenced by the presence of an encouraging welcoming adult as well as sophisticated kindie rock. SONGS THAT BUILD UP KIDZ is at the heart of what Mr Rayz wants to infuse into this next generation and because "You always remember your kids songs" he is always crafting catchy original songs that you can learn from and dance to and grow with
